The GT Audio MR Series drivers are designed for use both in car and in studio or PA environments. They feature high sensitivity with pressed paper cones and powerful magnets for outstanding detail in their sound reproduction. It is possible to use the speaker to perform duties on a wide freqency range either as a mid range or full range unit. Of course, their bass performance rolls off significantly but the exchange is worth it for the huge midrange punch. They feature copper shorting rings for improved impedance profile. The speakers offer simply astonishing performance on and off axis, and are ridiculously good for the price point. They also work well with modest power inputs, and of course will tolerate significant burst energy.
